Furniture masterpieces in Versailles palace
Last years of an exhibition in the Versailles palace cause original interest, a public resonance and disputes on a theme: whether correctly to expose in an ancient royal palace modern products? After in Versailles Jeff Kunsa and Takasi Murakami creations have been presented, already, apparently, it is difficult to surprise public with something. However, the new exposition «Mobilier national, four centuries of creation» («Le Mobilier national, quatre siècle de création») which scenography was created by set dresser Jacque Garsija, very successfully reconciles olden time and the present. This extensive exhibition which has opened on September, 20th, illustrates history Mobilier national - body of the manager registration of the most important French state residences. In it the furniture and a home decoration since Louis XIV are presented up to now.
